Couples Retreat is about four modern day couples with modern day problems. One couple suggests for everyone to go on a vacation- but what they don’t know is that this vacation, though offering luxuries, has a mandatory couple therapy session. As tension is brought to the surface by the couple’s therapists, relationships are tested while keeping a witty humour from the beginning to end. This movie brought many present day couple problems and laid them out in such a way that you saw the different perspectives of each couple. Along with a vulgar sense of humour, it brings to light complications of relationships. Overall it was a good movie but nothing we haven’t seen before.
